Specsavers Petersfield store supervisor Dan Theckston has received a Customer First Award in recognition for delivering superior levels of service.
Dan was nominated after receiving a compliment letter from a customer, who he had helped to get her first pair of varifocal lenses fitted. Despite taking up a large amount of Dan’s time, he remained patient, persistent and professional throughout, which the customer said they were incredibly grateful for.
'Every customer is important to us'
Dan was presented with his award by Specsavers regional relationship manager Matt Stiff at the Petersfield store.
‘It’s feels great to get recognition beyond the store,’ said Dan. ‘But, if I’m honest, it’s something that I like to do day in and day. Every customer is important and in store we want everyone to happy with their visit.’
Above and beyond
Jo Cox, store director at Specsavers Petersfield, said: ‘Dan is a credit to the store and always goes above and beyond to help customers, so we were thrilled when we heard he had been nominated for a Customer First Award.
‘Customer service is a top priority for all members of the team and we strive to provide the best possible level of care to all of our patients.’
