Broomfield Park in Palmers Green has been nominated as the UK's Best Park

Specsavers in Palmers Green is urging customers to take a couple of minutes today to vote for Broomfield Park in a national competition.

The park, in Palmers Green, has been nominated alongside 63 other parks in London – and more than 350 nationwide – as the UK’s Best Park for 2017.

About the competition

The competition is being run by Fields in Trust, a national charity devoted to protecting parks, playing fields and playgrounds. Voting closes at 5pm on Friday 3 November, and the winner will be announced at the end of the month.

Jaswinder Singh Nagra, store director at the store in Green Lanes, said: ‘Broomfield Park is a great space for local people to enjoy, with lots of wonderful things to see. It has great historical and environmental significance, and I would urge all our customers to take a couple of minutes to get online and vote for it before voting closes in November.’
