The optical experts from Specsavers in Newmarket are renewing their call for old and unwanted specs donations in store.

The team have donated more than 500 pairs of specs to international sight charity Vision Aid Overseas since January, and are renewing their call for donations to their 2017 collection.

A word from the store director

Store director, Samantha Moore, said: ‘Spring cleans are no doubt underway across the borough and we thought it would be a timely moment to remind local residents about our collection in store for Vision Aid Overseas.

‘The charity does invaluable work with those less fortunate than us, and by doing something as simple as donating, rather than binning your old specs, you could help transform someone’s life.’

More about the charity
