Staff got into the spirit of Halloween in Lerwick this year by wearing fancy dress in store and serving up devilishly delicious sweet treats.

Specsavers Lerwick sold toffee apples and fairy cakes while collecting donations for Vision Aid Overseas (VAO). The store also held a ‘Guess the number of sweets in the jar’ competition to drum up funds for Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).

The closest guess came from Ella Deyell who won the giant jar of sweets to take home.

Thomas Bruin, store director, said: ‘Halloween was a great opportunity to host some fun events in store and fundraise for VAO. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to collect £60 on the day.

‘Also a big congratulations to our winner Ella, we hope you’ll enjoy your sweet tasting prize.’
