Kind customers and staff in Specsavers Fort Kinnard helped raise an impressive £876 during the store’s Red Nose Day fundraiser.

The store’s charity total contributed to the colossal £475,000 raised by Specsavers stores and offices throughout the UK.

The store stocked Specsavers’ Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes. The glasses cost only £2 with the whole £2 from each pair going directly to Comic Relief to spend on life-changing projects both at home in the UK and across Africa.

Overwhelming generosity

Tracy Galloway, store director of Specsavers Fort Kinnaird, said: ‘We’d like to thank all our customers for their support – we have been overwhelmed by their generosity.

‘Our staff have had lots of fun striking poses with the glasses and everyone’s so pleased that we were able to contribute a great amount to Specsavers’ total.’
