Whisking it up for charity
The staff at Specsavers Dunfermline will be busy baking in the kitchen ahead of their in-store cake sale in support of local charity, Circle of Comfort.
This year, colleagues are hosting a baking-bonanza on Friday 28th April from 9am to raise vital funds for the charity which celebrates its 10th birthday this year.
Circle of Comfort is a registered Scottish charity which offers complementary therapies to cancer patients in their own home or in hospital. Massage, aromatherapy or reflexology treatments are carried out, free of charge, by their fully qualified therapists to cancer patients across Fife.
Dunfermline store director, Grace Hepburn said: ‘Specsavers has been a proud sponsor of the Great Scot Awards Community Champion Award for the past two years so we were thrilled when Circle of Comfort won last year.
‘They work tirelessly to improve the lives of people within their local community so we hope to welcome our customers and any passers-by into the store to help us raise vital funds.’
