Specsavers opticians in Brighouse has raised £10 for charity, after holding a Valentine’s Day competition in store.
Customers were invited to guess how many sweets were in a jar, with the winner receiving the jar of sweets. All money raised is going to charity the British Heart Foundation.
‘We would like to thank those who took part in the competition, and congratulate Freddie Wood, who won the competition and all of the sweets in the jar!’ says Gareth Hart, store director at Specsavers in Brighouse.
The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart conditions.
