A member of the team in Hove has become one of the first Specsavers in-store trainers in the UK to achieve gold status.
Liz Blake, who works at the George Street store, recently completed level four of the training pathway for her role.
Supporting the team
That role involves identifying training needs and opportunities for other staff at the store.
The course supports in-store trainers with the knowledge and skills they need to support the rest of the team.
Keeping customer satisfaction high
Adam Fuller, store manager in Hove, said: ‘Liz does an excellent job of supporting the rest of the team with their training needs, so we are delighted to support her in developing herself.
‘Effective training and development is a big part of keeping staff motivated, and working within your business. Not only that, it plays a big part in keeping customer satisfaction levels high too.’
