Specsavers Hove had some very special visitors recently – and one of them was of the four-legged variety.

Supporting local charities

Staff at the George Street store were delighted to see local Guide Dogs charity representative Graham Oulton and his guide dog Bassey in store to support their charity efforts this festive season.

The team have been collecting warm socks for Hove-based homeless charity Off the Fence, and have also been holding a raffle to raise additional funds.

Paws for thought

Charles Forshaw, store director in Hove, said: ‘Our team are always pleased to see Graham and Bassey, and it was really nice of them to pop in to see us to drum up some additional support for our Christmas appeal.

‘We will be open between Christmas and New Year, so if you need to get out of the house – perhaps to take your own dog for a walk – why not drop in to see us and book an eye test so you can make sure your sight is in tip top shape for 2018.’
