What a way to end the year for Specsavers Holborn after scooping three prestigious Specsaver awards to round off 2016.
The Platinum Employer is a Specsavers internal award highlighting that the Holborn store is a great place to work. Speaking about the win Specsavers store manager Helen Curran said: ‘Platinum employer is about building the employee brand which encompasses everything a store leader does to manage the life cycle of the people within their store.
We want our store to be a great place to work for our team members, during the platinum employer assessments we take a hard look at areas we could improve on to make sure that our team is looked after to the highest of standards, just like we do our customers.’
Excellence in Contact Lenses
This award reflects the high level of service the team in Holborn provides to users of contact lenses.
Helen said: ‘Winning the award is a tremendous achievement for our store. We are really proud of this result, especially because it recognises the dedication and effort our team puts in doing such an amazing job on a daily basis.
It is fundamental for us to offer a quick and efficient service and improve store operations to benefit our customers as much as possible. Being the only store in Central London to win the award is also a huge responsibility, but one that we are happy to have: we want to keep doing better and become a reference point for all the contact lens wearers out there.’
Customer First Commendation Award
This award recognised staff member Sunita Wadhawan for offering outstanding customer service. Helen continued: ‘Sunita is an extremely valued member of our team at Specsavers Holborn. Since Sunita joined our team in October 2015 she has always consistently delivered phenomenal service to every customer she encounters, treating them with the greatest of respect and individuality.
The effort she puts into her customers is something that our whole team looks up to and her customer feedback is exceptional. Sunita is a credit to the Specsavers name, her outstanding customer service is something that the whole company should be proud of.
Winner Sunita Wadhawan commented: ‘It is an honour to be recognised and awarded for my customer service at Specsavers Holborn. The best part of my job is the interaction I have with each of my customers and the positive impact that then has on their continuing journey with us at Holborn.’
Who knows what’s in store in 2017 for Holborn but be sure there’ll be more awards to collect.
