Local school benefits from store fundraising
Specsavers Hereford has spread some festive cheer by handing over £3,000 to Blackmarston School.
Tribute night to raise money
The team at the store put on an ABBA tribute night which helped to raise the funds for the special educational needs (SEN) school. They were delighted to hand over the cheque during the Christmas assembly on the last day of term.
A word from the store director
‘We’ve supported Blackmarston for a number of years now and are thrilled that we were able to hand over such a fantastic amount,’ says store director, Nialle Smith.
‘The team worked really hard to put on the ABBA tribute night and it’s thanks to everyone who came along on the night that we were able to raise so much money.
'It was a great way to round off the year and we’re pleased that we’ve been able to help contribute to their bus appeal.’
