Specsavers helps local children to be seen this winter
Specsavers in Street donates hi-vis vests to local school children

Pupils from Hindhayes Primary School will be seen clearly thanks to a donation of 70 high-visibility vests from Specsavers to mark Road Safety Week (17-23 November).

Colin Shearer, store director, said: ‘Now that the clocks have gone back, it gets dark very early so we hope the vests will ensure that local school children can be seen easily. We are also very proud to sponsor Road Safety Week as it’s something we are passionate about supporting.’

Road Safety Week is an initiative from national road safety charity Brake, of which Specsavers is a co-sponsor. This year’s theme is ‘look out for each other’ and Brake is calling for all road users to put safety first, be considerate to each other and not to take any chances, which includes making sure you can be seen.
