Specsavers Hastings are celebrating after being awarded a prestigious accreditation for their audiology services.
The store, in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, Queens Road, has been granted Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) status.
The accreditation recognises excellence, and is designed to improve service quality, care and safety for customers undergoing physiological diagnostics and treatment.
It is a professionally-led programme, sponsored by the Chief Scientific Officer, NHS England and hosted by the Royal College of Physicians.
More choice for patients
John Marsden, audiology director in Hastings, said: ‘Local people now have greater choice on when and how to access hearing services, thanks to new government rules.
‘Health-focused businesses like Specsavers can now work alongside GPs to deliver faster access to hearing services, alongside greater choice and better flexibility.
Free hearing tests
‘At Specsavers, hearing tests are free for all – and we recommend that if you are over 55, you should definitely have one. There is no obligation to buy, but if you do need a hearing aid we have a great selection at competitive prices.
‘We are delighted to have been professionally recognised for the service we deliver to our customers. So if you have not already chosen Specsavers for your hearing needs, why not give us a try today.’
