Specsavers Hailsham have done a little something to help the local community this winter by donating high visibility vests to the 4th Hailsham Rainbows.
The group have already made great use of them on a visit to the Observatory Science Centre at Herstmonceux, where 17 of the girls spent a few hours looking through telescopes and learning about the natural earth.
A word from the store director
Badrinath Mohandas, store director in Hailsham, said: ‘We were delighted to be able to give something back to the local community which has been so welcoming to our new store this year.
‘Our dispensing optician Claire is involved with the 4th Hailsham Rainbows, and has told me that the high visibility vests have already proved invaluable as it is really dark near the science centre.
'We hope the girls will have many more adventures with the vests – and that they will help them stay safe this winter.’
