The Greenock store has donated more than 200 high visibility vests to local children this winter.
The store in Oakmall Shopping Centre gifted the vests to the town’s Battery Park Nursery, Glenpark Early Learning Centre and the 2nd Gourock Brownies to be utilised during their outdoor pursuits over the winter months.
Lesley Brown, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘We have established a tradition of donating high visibility vests to our young people each year and we hope this year’s recipients enjoy their new kit.
‘We’re very much part of the community and are honoured to play our part in encouraging our young people to stay visible when out and about enjoying activities locally.’
