Specsavers in Godalming was delighted to be part of the Busbridge Infants School summer fete on Saturday 1 July.

Face painting to raise money

The team hired a professional face painter to help the school raise funds.  Over 35 faces were painted on the day and all of the money raised, which was £70, has been passed on to the School's PTA.

In addition to the face painting activities, Specsavers gave out lots of free frisbees to all of the children who attended the fete and a £150 voucher was also offered up as a raffle prize.

Says Mark Dunn, store director

'Being new to the town, it is great for us to support the local community by playing our small role.  We have supported three infants schools now including Moss Lane and Green Oaks, and will be at the Farncombe Infant School next weekend as sponsor of their donkey rides.  It has been a real honour to be part of such fun activities and we hope to do more in the future.'
