Specsavers in Gillingham sold 350 Comic Relief frames, in the run up to Red Nose Day, thanks to the engagement of staff and the help of the local community –raising over £640 for the charity. The team also held a bake sell in store which raised an additional £140 for the good cause.

Craig Holland, store director of Specsavers in Gillingham, says: ‘Comic Relief is a charity very close to our hearts – that’s why we were determined to do our best for this year’s Red Nose Day.
‘The staff were great and really did their best to engage and entertain our customers, who seemed happy to support the good cause – we couldn’t have done it without them!’
