Specsavers in Formby is promoting road safety by donating 200 high visibility vests to Redgate Primary School.

Every pupil got a vest to increase visibility on roads

Staff member Laura Wright visited the school and was able to give a vest to every pupil.

Store director Mark Roberts said: ‘Specsavers is a big supporter of road safety and we are very proud to have donated these high visibility vests to Redgate Primary School. We hope the children will get plenty of use out of them as the nights get darker.

It's important children can be seen clearly during winter months

‘It’s really important that children can be seen clearly when they are out and about on the roads and walking to or from school, especially during the winter months.’
