High-vis fever in Feltham
Specsavers in Feltham had a thoroughly amazing time at this year's Winter Night Carnival and were on-hand to offer free high-visibility jackets to children during the event.
Keeping kids seen and safe
Each year, colleagues at Specsavers offer free high-vis jackets to the community. The activity runs in the lead up to Road Safety Week and coincides with the darker evenings and the need to ensure children are safely seen on our streets by drivers.
Hundreds donated to date
The store has been running their campaign for over a decade now and each year, different approaches are used to get the jackets into children's hands. Previous years have seen the team visit schools and activity clubs. This year, they decided to hand them out at the Carnival that took place on Thursday 16 November. Suffice to say, they went down a storm with the crowds!
A great success
Parents were very pleased to receive jackets for their children and will be put to good use when children are out cycling, on school visits and during general outings at the weekends with the family.
