Specsavers Exmouth has sent season’s greetings and a huge thank you to its customers after receiving hundreds of items of food for a local charity.
Specsavers in Exmouth collected goods from 3 to 16 December in aid of Exmouth Community Larder in conjunction with the Salvation Army.
A word from the store
Specsavers Exmouth store director, Ria Heskins, said: ‘We are delighted and overwhelmed by the support from our customers and the local community and wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated.
'We will ensure that everything we have received gets to the charity, enabling them to offer food to those most in need this Christmas.’
Continuing to support the charity
This is the third year running that the Specsavers store has been a collection point and everything from tinned beans to toiletries and dog food will be heading to the local charity this month.
