Give us a wave Exeter
The iconic Specsavers logo in Exeter has gone all googly-eyed as giant replicas of the fundraising Red Nose Day glasses have been installed on its storefront.
A sight for sore eyes
Human-sized Red Nose Day glasses – in adult and children’s sizes – are available now and cost £2, with all money raised going straight to Comic Relief.
Emma Denham, store director at Specsavers in Exeter, says: ‘Our giant Red Nose Day specs look brilliant - they have totally transformed our store and we’ve had a great reaction from passers-by.'
The team in Exeter are asking everyone who buys a pair of the real Red Nose Day glasses to join in on a giant Mexican wave on social media as well. Simply strike a pose with your specs and post with the #GiveUsAWave to receive your very own wave back.
Specsavers in Exeter has joined stores nationwide to support Comic Relief by pledging to raise at least £250,000 this Red Nose Day to help change countless lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
