New look logo for Comic Relief
The iconic Specsavers logo in Exeter went all googly-eyed as giant replicas of the fundraising Red Nose Day glasses were installed on its storefront.
Sell out success
The city centre store thanked customers after selling out of their red nose day comedy glasses.
Priced at £2 a pair, all money paid was donated to Comic Relief, helping Specsavers beat their pledge of £250,000, to raise £475,000.
Emma Denham, store director at Specsavers in Exeter, said: ‘Our giant Red Nose Day specs looked brilliant. They totally transformed our store with some great reactions from passers-by.
'Thank you to everyone who visited us to buy a pair and join in the fun.'
A good cause
Specsavers fundraising for Comic Relief will help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
Specsavers has been a Comic Relief partner since 2015.
