Exeter Specsavers is the latest store in the UK to be recognised for outstanding people management standards, after achieving a Platinum Employer Award.
Providing a first class employee experience
The aim of Platinum Employer status is to recognise businesses for providing a great overall employee experience.
The scheme focuses on five key areas - talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development and lastly employee communications and engagement.
Raising the bar
Platinum Employer is an externally validated accreditation scheme, which aims to raise the bar of people management standards and help ensure Specsavers is famous as a great place to work.

Exeter Specsavers store director, Emma Denham, said: ‘I’m so proud of all the team in Exeter. We celebrated a significant investment and refurbishment of the store just a few months ago and we’re already being recognised.
‘This award recognises everything we do and most importantly the hard work of our entire team.’
