Staff training had a creative twist this month in Elgin as the store team carved pumpkins which were later displayed in the shop window for Halloween.

The Elgin store also held a colouring competition for kids to get creative with their witch and pumpkin designs.

Hope Drury, age three, was picked as the winner and was presented with a goody bag of sweet treats in store this week.

Colourful designs and wacky carvings

Peter Taylor, store director, said: ‘Carving some wacky pumpkin designs was a fun extra for our recent in store training but the designs were so good, they had to take pride of place in our window.

‘We also loved all the colourful designs from kids for our competition this month. Congratulations to our winner we hope you’ll enjoy your sweetie prizes.’
