Staff at the East Kilbride store have donated £135 to Social Bite instead of swapping secret Santa presents.
Twenty-seven members of the team gave £5 each towards Social Bite’s campaign to provide Christmas dinner for homeless people in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Spreading Christmas cheer
Store director at Specsavers in East Kilbride, Shirley Ann Kennedy, said: ‘We have supported this campaign for the past few years.
‘It is such a superb cause and we are delighted to help Social Bite put on a fantastic Christmas spread for those in need in three of Scotland’s cities.’
