Eastbourne wears pink for charity
Staff at Specsavers Eastbourne were well and truly in the pink recently – and raised money for Breast Cancer Now along the way.
The store, in Terminus Road, held a cake sale for customers to make donations to the charity.
The team also asked customers having their glasses adjusted in store that day whether they were willing to make a small donation in return. In total, the store raised £100 for Breast Cancer Now on the day.
Martin East, store director in Eastbourne, said: ‘We were delighted to be able to support Breast Cancer Now by wearing it pink – and to raise £100 to help them carry out their work. We would like to thank all of our customers for being so generous, and our staff for bringing in such delicious cakes for us all to enjoy.’
