Specsavers Dunfermline has helped a team of footballers kick off the new season in style thanks to a new sponsorship agreement.
They are proud to announce a year-long partnership with Yeoman Amateur Football Club, enabling the players to sport brand new strips.
The store has gifted more than £640 to the club as part of its ongoing support for local organisations and charities.
Andy Hepburn, store director for Specsavers Dunfermline, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring Yeoman AFC for the first time this season. We pride ourselves on being able to make a difference to the local community and are proud to have our logo on the training strips.
‘We wish the team the best of luck for the season.’
The strips will be worn by the Adult Sunday Amateur team in the Fife Sunday Amateur Premier League, who train on Wednesday evenings.
Grateful for support
Peter Lawrie, team manager, said: ‘We are really grateful for the support we have received from Specsavers Dunfermline. It’s fantastic to be associated with the brand, and their support means we can save money on kits and equipment and invest in other areas to make the club the best it can be.
‘I know all the team are excited to be playing in brand new strips. The team won a treble last year in the Fife cup, league cup and premier league and play really well together. We’re looking forward to a successful season, boosted by our fantastic new strips.’
