The Dunfermline opticians has donated high-visibility vests to pupils at Camdean Primary School in Rosyth.

Keeping youngsters safe

The donation was part of Specsavers’ pledge to help youngsters stay safe when out in busy streets and public areas.

Lesley Gillan, Store Manager at Specsavers in Dunfermline, said: ‘It is a real pleasure to play our role in keeping the children of Camdean Primary School visible. Providing school children with high visibility vests is a simple idea but one that can have a big effect on their safety and wellbeing.

‘We take all aspects of safety very seriously and hope the children will put the vests to good use when doing outdoor activities.’
