Staff at Specsavers in Dumfries are getting ready for Halloween by encouraging youngsters to get involved in three spooky competitions.
Young artists can put their creepy colouring skills to the test as they design a wicked witch’s face and hat.
They’ll also get the chance to count the scary spiders in the window of the Loreburne Shopping Centre store, and guess how many spooky eyeballs are in the jar.
Entries cost 50p and all money collected will be donated to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Winners will each receive book tokens.
A word from the store director
Store director Jill Dickson said: ‘It’s not long now until Halloween and to celebrate, we wanted to do something spooky to get youngsters involved in the fun.
‘It’s all for a good cause too as every 50p will go to charity.
‘We hope that young people and their families join us in our Specsavers spooktacular.’
To get involved, simply pop into the store. The closing date for entries is 25 October.
