Children booking an eye examination at a Dudley opticians ahead of Christmas will get to meet one of Santa’s helpers and receive a free gift.

Specsavers on Castle Street is playing host to Father Christmas’s second in command and has set up a Santa’s grotto in store. 

Looking after the eye health of our younger community

Store director, Gurdeep Dosanjh, said: ‘Any child booking a sight test in the lead up to Christmas can also make an appointment to meet our own Specsavers St Nicolas. 

‘It’s the season of goodwill, and so not only do we want to check the eye health of our younger community, but we also want to give something back via of our own Father Christmas.’

Staff at the store are embracing the Christmas spirit too, by sporting festive knits throughout the month and giving out mince pies and goody bags at some of the town’s key festive events.
