Staff at Specsavers in Dudley raised £782 for Comic Relief

The team from Specsavers Dudley embraced Red Nose Day raising £782 for Comic Relief.

Staff at the store ditched their uniforms for red tops and sold the official Red Nose Day comedy specs, with all proceeds going to the charity. 

A word from the director

Gurdeep Dosanjh store director said: ‘Taking part in Comic Relief is important to us, and the team did an amazing job in raising awareness for such a great cause.

'The comedy glasses were fantastic and we encouraged everyone who bought a pair to also join our giant Mexican wave on social media as well.’

Specsavers in Dudley joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and pledged to raise at least £250,000 for the charity.
