Specsavers in Dingwall is looking out for the safety of youngsters this winter as it gifted high-visibility vests to pupils at Ben Wyvis Primary.

Pupils Jack Fisher and Kayleigh Gray visited Specsavers Dingwall to collect vests on behalf of their primary 4/5 class.

The donation was made by the store as part of its pledge to help youngsters stay safe and more visible to drivers when out in busy streets and public areas.

Supporting local groups

Gavin Wreath, store director at Specsavers Dingwall, said: ‘We continually look for ways to give back to the local community and this donation is a fantastic way to support local groups in the area and help spread the road safety message.

‘We hope these vests will be helpful for walk-to-school groups and outdoor activities at Ben Wyvis Primary.’
