The team at Dingwall are calling out for donations

Throughout December, staff from Specsavers in Dingwall are getting into the spirit of the season while fundraising for children’s charity Cash for Kids.

The High Street opticians is a drop-off point for this year’s MFR Cash for Kids ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal.

The initiative asks people in local communities to buy an extra present which will be gifted to disadvantaged children to brighten up their Christmas morning.

The brand new and unwrapped presents should be suitable for children up to the age of 18 and can be donated anytime to local drop-off points including the Dingwall opticians which has already filled five sacks of gifts ready to donate.

Proud to support Mission Christmas

Gavin Wreath, store director at Specsavers Dingwall, said: ‘Christmas is a time for celebrating with family and friends however many people aren’t as fortunate as others and this is where Mission Christmas comes in with its fantastic appeal.

‘We are proud to support the initiative this year in the hope that everyone will have a Merry Christmas.’
