The team at Specsavers Croydon has received high praise this month for their exemplary standards of customer service, with two members of staff singled out in particular.
The first member of the team to receive praise is Harriet, who was commended for her attentiveness.
‘I just wanted to let you how impressed I was with Harriet today. My daughter needed new glasses and she was so helpful. My daughter asked lots of questions in relation to her prescription and what it meant, which Harriet explained clearly and concisely. She was attentive to our needs and has excellent customer service. Thank you so much!’
The second staff member to receive a tribute is Annie for her patient service for a customer who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
‘On our recent two visits to the North End store in Croydon, I must commend the staff, particularly Annie who we saw during the week and fitted my wife's glasses.
'Her patience and understanding of my wife’s condition was highly commendable and I was highly encouraged to find that members of staff have undertaken training to enable them to serve customers with Alzheimer’s as compassionately as possible.
‘I have also spoken to other members of staff at the store and all appear to have the same commitment and understanding. Well done!’
Bill Pennell, store director at Specsavers Croydon said: ‘This feedback is brilliant for a couple of reasons really. Firstly, it shows what a good job our members of staff do to offer the best customer service possible, but also highlights the exact reason why undertaking Dementia Friends training was so important for our business.
'Our community in Croydon is incredibly important to us and we’re proud to be doing our bit.’
At Specsavers we always strive to provide the highest level of customer service and care so it’s great to receive such positive feedback from our customers. If you've had an experience you'd like to share please visit our online feedback page.
