High-visibility vests donated by Specsavers in Cheltenham have been put to good use by the Naunton Area Residents Association (NARA).

Used by the group while they were creating some planting borders to help ensure the area is in full bloom come spring, the vests were worn to make sure members were seen.

Delighted to donate

‘We’ve donated the vests to schools and brownie groups, but this was something a bit different,’ said PR co-ordinator, Emily Ashman.

‘We’re delighted that they’ve been put to good use and that NARA members have been wearing them in and around their community.

'Going forward, the group are planning to hold a second planting day later this year and residents will be arranging regular litter picking sessions in the area.’
