Members of staff from Specsavers in Burton-on-Trent ensured that everyone in the local community felt loved this Christmas by donating 15 gift-filled hampers to the Love Inspire Foundation, who distributed them to families in need of a helping hand over the festive period.
The store collected items up until Sunday 17 December to make sure those in need had their hampers in time for Christmas. Donations included chocolates, mince pies, luxury toiletries and selection boxes.
'Huge thank you'
‘For many of us, Christmas is a time for happiness and excitement, but there are so many people in our local community who struggle to cover the costs and it can turn into stress and panic.
'We hope our efforts made Christmas easier for families in Burton this year,’ commented store director, Linda Joyce.
‘We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation to the gift appeal in store. We were blown away by the kindness and generosity of our team, families and customers and delighted to fill 15 hampers of gifts.’
