Staff at Specsavers in Brighouse have raised £54 for charity by holding a raffle to win a biscuit hamper.

The team raised the money for local charity Overgate Hospice, which gives care to patients requiring specialist palliative care.

The lucky winner was Asia Sarfraz, who won a hamper full of biscuits and sweet treats.

A word from the store director

Gareth Hart, store director at Specsavers in Brighouse, said: ‘As a charity that we often raise money for, our hamper raffle was just the latest of many fundraisers we have held this year for the team at Overgate.

'The hospice is a charity that is close to our hearts, and we hope to raise more money for the hospice in the future.’
