Bridgnorth celebrates a decade in business
Members of staff from Specsavers in Bridgnorth had cause for celebration as they marked ten years on the town’s high street.
The Mayor and Mayoress Ron and Carol Whittle attended the party and cut the cake with the store director before enjoying a glass or two of bubbles. The store’s longest-standing customers were given VIP tickets to attend the celebration and share the fizz.
The team also gave out goodie bags outside the store to passers-by, and there was a raffle to win a pair of designer sunglasses.
A word from the store director
Store director Teresa Hughes said: ‘I was here when we opened in 2007, and it seemed only fitting to mark such a milestone with a celebration with our fantastic team and of course our valued customers.
‘We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down and made this a special day. We wanted to celebrate alongside the local community who have supported us over the past decade.
‘A lot has changed in the last ten years, but our dedication to customers and the ongoing development of our staff continues to grow. It was fantastic to see familiar faces from the town at the celebrations, and we hope to see many of them in another ten years when we celebrate our twentieth birthday.’
