There has been lots of career successes and some impressive anniversaries are looming, so to ensure their dedication and service to the store doesn't go unrecognised, here is a low down on what has been achieved.

Apprenticeships and examinations passed

Emily Burden joined the store as an apprentice last year and is now delighted to be a full time optom dispensing assistant.  Emily, alongside Anderson Funfie and Lisa Collard are now looking to developing their careers further by starting their studies to acquire a Cert 3 qualification in Dispensing.

Callum Jones and Chloe Metcalfe are hoping to follow in Emily's footsteps and have joined the business as new apprentices.

Other great achievements

Amie Ebsworth has started Pathway to become a store director - a very exciting prospect for her.  Kirsty Ginger has passed her Cert 3 in Dispensing while Elizabeth Morozova has started on collections and is now one of the store's top dispensers.

New starters

Ann-Marie Lim and Salim Rahmen have been taken on as new pre-reg optometrists and Barbie Morrow is the new in store trainer.

Long time achievements

The last word has to go to our long serving colleagues.  Scott Cooke, Lab Technician, celebrates his 22th anniversary this month.  Peter Reardon, Lab Technician, will have been with the store for 26 years in July and Tracey Myall, Pre-Screener, also celebrates her 16th anniversary in the July.  Martine Foy, Contact Lens Supervisor marks her 10th anniversary at Specsavers in Boscombe in May.
