The new state-of-the-art Specsavers store in Bishopbriggs was officially opened on Saturday 28 October by local MSP, Rona Mackay, and local Councillor, Paul Ferretti.
Both helped cut the ribbon at the store’s official launch party to kick off the day, alongside store director Neil Drain and the rest of the team from the store. A host of activities took place throughout the day including a stilt walker.
A word from our store director
Neil said: ‘After months of planning, we are delighted to officially open our doors in Bishopbriggs. We would like to thank Rona, Paul and all the customers who stopped by during our celebrations to help us mark the launch of the store.
‘Customers can expect fantastic service and advice, state-of-the-art equipment, and an excellent selection of glasses here in store.
‘We’re committed to providing the residents of Bishopbriggs with the best optical and hearing services around and we have one of the strongest offerings in the area.’
The new store, which has created eight new jobs in the area, has two test rooms, a dedicated contact lens department, and an in-store Hearing Centre.
