Store director celebrates 21 years of service
The team at Specsavers Bicester would like to congratulate store director and optometrist, Sarah Marshall on 21 years’ service.
Since opening the doors two decades ago, Sarah has achieved many milestones under the Specsavers brand.
Running an award-winning business, sitting on the Specsavers board and being named as the Regional Chair to represent all stores in Oxfordshire and Berkshire, means that Sarah’s expertise, experience and knowledge has become an invaluable asset to the store and the local Bicester community.
In the past 21 years, Sarah has witnessed a number of changes to the local community, and in particular her own store, but Sarah pinpoints technology and the rapid expansion of personnel as two of the most impressive.
‘It has been incredible to see first-hand how much Specsavers are investing each year to ensure our customers are getting the very best eyecare and audiology,’ said Sarah.
‘The advances in technology and the accuracy of detecting eye diseases has improved dramatically since I first opened the store, while the advancement in frames, lenses and contacts technology has been second to none.
‘We’ve also celebrated recent awards success, winning the Overall Performance category in the Specsavers Excellence in Eyecare Awards at the end of last year, and being selected as a finalist in the Multiple Practice of the Year category at this year’s Opticians Awards.
'It’s testament to the hard work of the team and the emphasis we place on constantly looking to improve the service we offer and we’re hopeful of more accolades to follow.
Importance of community
‘I would like to thank Bicester locals for their support over the past 21 years and to all my lovely customers who I look forward to seeing every day. It’s been a pleasure directing the store for the last two decades, and I’m looking forward to many more successful years to come!’
