Wool is cool for Bedford fundraiser
Opticians and audiologists in Bedford showed off their favourite festive knits to support Christmas Jumper Day this month.
The team at Specsavers Bedford turned up to work in an array of Christmas-themed jumpers to promote the charity event and bring some seasonal cheer to their customers.
Members of staff also made donations on the day to the Christmas Jumper Day appeal, raising a total of £114 during the three-day event.
Proceeds for Save the Children
The proceeds will go towards the Save the Children charity, with the money used to help provide healthcare, education, food and protection to millions of children living in challenging conditions around the world.
Great response from the team
Rakesh Nanda, store director at Specsavers Bedford, said: ‘We had a great response from the team to this year’s Christmas Jumper Day and we hope our contribution to Save the Children will make a big difference to the lives of children living in difficult circumstances.’
