Batley raise £100 for cancer charity
The team at Specsavers in Batley have raised over £100 in store for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Bake sale to raise funds for charity
Holding a bake sale as part of Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning, staff at the opticians made their own cakes and bakes to sell to the public. They also held a 'guess the height of the cake tower' competition to raise additional money.
A word from the store director
Paul Smith, store director at Specsavers in Batley, said: 'The team did an amazing job to raise such a large amount of money from selling their homemade bakes.
'The Macmillan Coffee Morning is always a fun event to get involved with, and it's great to see the team get involved and giving back to a good cause.'
