Specsavers in Ballymena has been named Overall Store of the Year in the inaugural Fairhill Business Awards.
The award was presented at a gala evening in the Tullyglass House Hotel hosted by TV presenter Claire McCollum.
Judged by mystery shoppers this award is designed to recognise excellence in terms of individuality, innovation and an outstanding customer experience.
All areas of the store were scrutinised during the process but in particular the judges were looking for an innovative and exciting product range; excellent merchandising and display; value added services; and evidence of a thorough understanding of their customers’ needs.
Specsavers in Fairhill really impressed the judges who said that the store 'really ticked all the boxes'. The judges complimented the expert staff who were 'on hand to help with every requirement' and noted not only the fantastic range of products but the attractive offers as well.
Dedication and hard work
Valerie Penney, store director said, 'We are absolutely delighted to have won this award.
'It is testament to the dedication and hard work of every member of our team and we are so proud that their commitment has been recognised. We would like to thank Fairhill Shopping Centre for organising these Awards and look forward to taking part again next year.'
