Ballymena’s Specsavers store has teamed up with Radio Cracker for a sixth year to sponsor the charity’s annual Christmas shop. This is the twentieth year that Radio Cracker has opened its Christmas shop in Ballymena town centre and the 26th year of the charity radio station. The store is located in Unit 29 of the Tower Centre and is selling a wide range of Christmas goods right up to 23rd December 2017.

Raising money for worthy causes

Specsavers store director Adrian Murdoch said: 'We are really delighted to support Radio Cracker’s Christmas shop once again. It’s incredible that an initiative which relies solely on volunteers is still going strong in these busy times and is a real credit to all the good folk who give up their time to staff the shop right up to Christmas.

'Radio Cracker has become an integral part of Ballymena’s festive celebrations which both entertains the local community and raises an incredible amount of money for worthy causes around the world. We would encourage everyone to visit the shop, browse and buy!'

Shop open until 23 December

Radio Cracker is broadcasting Monday to Friday from 7.30am on 107.6FM until December 23rd to the greater Ballymena area. The Radio Cracker shop is open from 9.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Saturday until 23rd December 2017.
