The Alnwick store recently showed its support for not one but three local events in one bumper day.
Led by Grant Welsh, the team supported Alnwick’s Bonfire Night celebrations, the Bailiffgate Museum and the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, investing more than £2,500.
As well as helping to make the fireworks night possible through sponsorship, they funded the first Cadet awards ceremony in more than 15 years and sponsored the ‘From Hollywood to Broadway’ concert at the museum.
Supporting the community
Grant said: ‘It’s easy to see we’re invested in this fantastic community and we were only too happy to give our support to this recent trio of local events.
‘It was quite a day for the town, and it was certainly an honour for us to be a part of it all.’
The community investment is the latest in a wave of cash injections to come from the store this year.
The team recently invested more than £2,000 in the Alnwick Food Festival, Alnwick Beer Festival and Anwick Town Ladies’ football club.
In his first year in business in the town’s historic Davison building, Grant also donated £12k between no fewer than 14 local causes, supporting everything from the Alnwick Christmas stage to sponsoring the Round Table Duck Race.
