Staff from Specsavers in Abingdon got into the festive spirit and turned their focus towards raising funds for Save the Children on Friday 14 December for Christmas Jumper Day.

A word from the store director

Store director, Andrew Threlfall, said: ‘Save the Children is a wonderful charity and we are proud to have raised funds for them. Christmas is all about giving and we know this money raised for the organisation will help to improve children’s living conditions.’
Established in the early 1920s, Save the Children is a global charity that works in more than 120 countries. It provides emergency relief, education, healthcare and protection, while working to tackle poverty and global hunger, and fighting for children’s rights.
