Ripon is celebrating serving the local community for twelve years this February whilst raising vital funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The Specsavers store, which has been located on Fishergate for over 12 years, will be hosting a fun day to celebrate the occasion.

To mark the event, the team will be hosting a lucky dip tombola on Thursday 2 February with prizes including three £50 Specsavers gift cards up for grabs.

Caroline Sullivan, store director at Specsavers in Ripon, said: ‘The team is delighted to have been situated on Fishergate for such a long time, and is excited to celebrate the occasion with a chance to give back the community which has supported us for the last twelve years.

‘We’ve not only got some great prizes up for the winning, but we’ll also be collecting money for the wonderful Yorkshire Air Ambulance service.’

In addition to the fun day, the team at Specsavers in Ripon will be marking the occasion by donating £1 from every eye test done during the week to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
