Specsavers Opticians in Market Street joined more than 60 businesses at the recent Guernsey Health Show.
More than 3,200 people went to the third year of the show, which gave businesses a chance to showcase what they had to offer.
Importance of eye tests
The local opticians was among more than 60 stalls which set up at the event at Les Beaucamps High School. Store director, Sarah Burchett, attended along with audiology director Julie Chammings.
‘Julie and I were there for the whole day and it was a great opportunity to not only talk to people about the importance of eye tests but also about eye health in general and the services we offer.
‘We handed out more than 1,000 goody bags and sold more than 60 Specsavers comedy glasses to raise money for Comic Relief.’
Specsavers has been a partner of Comic Relief since 2015 and the Guernsey store is joining Specsavers from around the UK to support the charity.
