Specsavers in Hamilton focuses on kids
SPECSAVERS in Hamilton raised awareness of the work it does in caring for the eye health of youngsters in a fun week of activities.
During its dedicated kids week, the store focused on the importance of regular eye tests from an early age, and staff took to the streets of Hamilton to talk to members of the public about the store’s ‘2 for 1’ and kids’ designer glasses from £14 offers.
Every youngster who had an eye test or was fitted for frames was put forward into a prize draw to win a Binatone Kidz Star tablet – and Millie Jo Carroll, seven, from Hamilton, was the lucky winner.
Meeting the superheroes
Two members of staff dressed up as Spiderman and The Hulk, and youngsters and their parents got the chance to browse the range of kids glasses in store.
Specsavers Hamilton dispensing optician Nishma Patel says: ‘It was a great week and helped us to raise awareness of the work we do in caring for the eye health of youngsters in Hamilton.
‘We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped to make it such a success.’
